Rite-Way Canvas has been owned and operated by Greg and Linda Kuehntopp since they purchased it in 1992. Greg and Linda moved the company in 2001 to 6305 W. 5th Street and then to 6885 W. 6th Street in 2012. Joining Greg and Linda in the business is their eldest son, Marc, who serves as their lead Marine Fabricator.

Awnings
At Rite-Way, we offer several different types of awnings to meet the varying needs of businesses and individuals. For commercial awnings and signage, we offer welded aluminum frames and many lines of materials, including Sunbrella (woven acrylic), Weblon (vinyl), Reflections (backlit), and Cooley-Brite (eradicable back-lit). All of our commercial awnings can be lettered on and create an attractive and functional way to advertise your business. We also offer retractable pipe-frame awnings and Sunsetter roll-out awnings for your home, both of which are great for blocking the sun and are also aesthetically pleasing.

Upholstery
We are pleased to provide our customers with upholstery service of all kinds. We are able to reupholster boat interiors, furniture, car and truck seats, motorcycle seats, 4-wheeler seats, snowmobile seats, and many more. Other interesting upholstery jobs we have been involved in include bleacher cushions, church pew cushions, and custom bar-rests for several local establishments.

Marine Canvas
When it comes to Marine Canvas, Rite-Way does it all. We have years of experience fabricating custom tops and enclosures, mooring covers, travel covers, hatch covers, window covers, etc. Basically, we can fabricate or replace any piece of canvas your boat may need. We also fabricate our own stainless steel and aluminum bimini frames to the specifications for your boat. Our product lines include all types of Sunbrella, Top Gun, Aqualon, Double-polished clear vinyl, Crystal Clear 20/20, Strataglass, and many more. We use the finest product lines and time-tested fabrication techniques to create a product that is functional and that you will be proud to have on your boat. For those of you with larger boats and yachts, because of our patterning and frabrication techniques, we can complete your canvas-work while your boat is in your slip in your marina. You don’t need to bring the boat to us. We have worked on all types of boats, from 8-foot duck boats to 60-foot yachts. In the past several years we have worked extensively in the Alma Marina, Parkside Marina in Wabasha, Sunset Bay Marina in Trempealeau, Dick’s Marine in Winona, and the Winona Marina (formerly Winona Yacht Club). We also have years of experience work on boat interiors and upholstery. (Please be patient, more pictures will be available as we update our website).
